Staff Statistics
Overall, staff numbers once again increased in 2025, reaching a total of 10,323 (+23), at a full-time equivalent (FTE) of 7882 (+55). 243 out of 745 professors were women, which equals 33 percent, thereby achieving the highest proportion in the history of UZH. 34 out of the 61 professorial appointments in 2025 were women.
